How does billing work?
Choose monthly or annual billing. Monthly plans are billed on the anniversary of your start date. Annual plans are billed once per year at a 15% discount -- Starter at $1,010/yr, Professional at $1,520/yr. The Board Admin or Property Manager designated as the billing contact can pay by credit card or ACH.
Are there per-user fees?
No. Every plan includes unlimited users. Invite your entire Board, Property Manager, Legal Counsel, Vendors, and Community Members at no additional cost. Unity pricing is per Association, not per person.
What happens if we exceed our storage?
We'll notify you when you're approaching your limit. Additional storage can be added at $5/GB per month, prorated to your billing cycle. No data is ever deleted without your permission.
What is a Quest?
A Quest is a plain-English question you submit through Unity's DocuQuest panel. DocuQuest searches your Association's governing documents, state statutes, and local codes, then returns an answer with page-level citations you can verify and share. Think of it as having a research assistant who's read every document your Association has ever produced.
Will I be charged for OCR on every document I upload?
No. The vast majority of documents -- Word files, native PDFs, spreadsheets -- upload and index at no extra cost as part of your plan. OCR processing is only needed for scanned or photographed documents where the text is embedded as an image rather than selectable text. Unity detects this automatically during upload. If OCR is required, you'll see it noted on the document, and the charge is $0.01 per page processed. A typical 30-page scanned Declaration would cost $0.30 to process.
Can our Property Manager manage multiple Associations?
Absolutely. Property Managers and Legal Counsel can switch between Associations instantly. Enterprise pricing offers volume discounts for portfolios of 5 or more communities.
